The Perception of Time
Time; it’s the one thing in life we seem to always have too much of and not enough of at the same moment. In my life, it feels like I have been constantly watching the hours, minutes, and seconds tick by waiting for the next big moment to happen.
I have realized how fast and slow it can move. That’s why I decided to do this series called The Perception Of Time. Each photograph in this series has two main parts to it, an object that counts time and a part that can be used to describe a feeling of our perception of time. I used objects such as water to describe drowning in time and suspension to show being frozen in time. Through this series I was able to express feelings that I was having and didn't know how to put into words.
